I work for the Bankruptcy Court, it was an honor to have known Don. He always had a smile on his face and he was a kind man.

I'm truly sorry for your loss. He will be missed.

As one of the Court Security Officers for the United States Courthouse in Jackson, I will always remember Don's quiet, gentle demeanor. But there was a toughness there that also spoke volumes. I always felt 'safe' with him on the job. He will be greatly missed.

Don was an absolute pleasure to work with all of those years. He had a mischief about him, but it was a good one, never a dull moment. He will be greatly missed. I'm so glad that back last fall, I had the opportunity to sit down at the Hearth restraunt with Don and other old friends and tell our police stories. Don Lovelace was a class act!!

So sorry to hear of Don's passing. I had the honor and privilege of working with Don when I was a dispatcher at both Weakley Co. Sheriff's Office and at Martin PD. Don was a great man and was never seen without a smile on his face and could usually be heard laughing wherever he went. I will always remember him with great fondness. His family are in my thoughts. Rest in Peace.
