Barbara Shanes

Barbara Dell Collier, Ary, Shanes of Sharon, TN went to be with the Lord on June 30, 2023. She was 73 years old, a housewife who loved to bake and cook and lover her family and friends deeply. Barbara was a devoted and loving wife to her husband J M Shanes for 33 years. One of eight children born to Rufus and Adeline Collier. She is survived by her two daughters Melissa Pipkin and husband Cory, Addie Carroll; one son Robbie Ary and wife Becky; two stepsons Jeff Shanes and wife Brittney, and Jason Shanes. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren along with five sisters; Lynda Collier, Marilyn Quatrano, Pat Holmes and husband Eddie, Carole Powers and husband Larry, Lori Garner and husband Mike, and one brother Chuck Collier and wife Barbara. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother Raymond Collier. A Memorial Service will be held at the Alamo Baptist Church on July 29 at 2 p.m. Visitation will begin at 12 noon at the church and go until time of her service.
