Betty Hicks Obituary

Betty Sue Hicks, age 65, of Sharon, TN passed away surrounded by family on June 25, 2024. Private services for Mrs. Hicks will be conducted on July 13, 2024

Sue was born on April 7, 1959 in Dexter, MO; the daughter of the late Billy and Ellen(Golden) Freeman. Alongside her family, she spent the majority of her career supporting their family owned grocery business, Food Rite. She was of Baptist faith.

Mrs. Hicks is survived by her loving husband David Hicks, of Sharon, TN; two sons Timothy Hicks(Nicole) of Sharon, and Michael Hicks(Lia) of Kenton; sisters Jeanie Hays(Joey) of Dyer; one grandson, Jude Hicks; nephew Jeffrey Hays(Paige); niece, Jenna Simpson(Blake); great nephews Jaxon Hays and Tripp Hays; great nieces, Greer Simpson and Mattie Simpson. She was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial to be made in honor of Mrs. Hicks to Forget Me Not Foundation of Northwest, TN.
