Curtis Carl Alexander age 81 passed away peacefully at his home in Greenfield, TN, on December 17th. Curtis was born on March 4, 1943 at his home in Skullbone, TN to the late Nathan Scott and Willie Grace Alexander. He was a United States Veteran who served in the Vietnam Conflict from 1966-1968. He served in the United States National Guard for 14 years. Curtis loved all things American. he enjoyed reading his Bible, spending time with family and friends, his church family, and coffee break days. His favorite pastime was beating everyone at checkers.
Also preceding his death was his loving wife Shirley Cooper Alexander, his brothers Bobby Jack Alexander and Scotty Ray Alexander, his sister Monda Kay Alexander, his sister in law Goldie Alexander, his nephews Billy Joe Alexander and Carl Nathan Alexander.
Curtis is survived by his brother Andrew Parker Alexander(Suzanne), Nephew Mark Edward Alexander(Tanya), nieces Tina Alexander(Billy), Tammy Alexander Gordon(Chris), his sister in law Valerie Alexander Matejowsky(Billy), and great nieces and nephews Morgan Alexander Briggs(Matt), Zachary and Ian Alexander, Bentley and Bailey Gordon, a great great niece Maddie Briggs, and great great nephew Mason Briggs.
Curtis also leaves behind so many special friends that he loved and adored. He was surrounded by supportive neighbors, friends, and church families.
The family of Curtis Carl Alexander Alexander respectively invites you to attend a graveside service at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Bradford, TN on December 27th at 1 p.m.
