Delois Tansil Martin

Delois Tansil Martin was born November 19, 1946, to the late Charlie Jones and Lorine Tansil Clemons. Delois went to spend eternal life with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 23, 2023, while in the Weakley County Nursing Home in Dresden, TN. Delois joined Pleasant View M.B. Church at an early age and later joined Kingdom Hall. She was married to the late Joe Lewis Martin who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death two sons; Joe N. Martin and Marshall Martin, two grandmothers; Bertha Winston and Hallie Nailon, two brothers; Willie Tansil and Larry Jones, one sister; Janice Simpson, one grandson; Deonte Tansil, one great grandson; Julius Pickett. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons; David Jones (Betty) and Michael Martin (Sherry), both of Martin, TN, one daughter; Karla Tansil of Dresden, TN, four sisters; Gloria Harris of Aberdeen OH, Sheila Harris of Kenton, TN, Jessica Jones (James) of Rutherford, TN, Novak Clemons of Sharon, TN, 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mrs. Martin will have a memorial service Saturday July the 1st at 1 p.m. at Pleasant View M.B. Church in Sharon.
