Don Insco Harris

Don Harris, age 72, of Gleason, TN passed away Sunday evening at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Landa Blankenship Harris, and two sons Chris and Corey (Kerry) Harris, all of Gleason, TN. He is also survived by six grandchildren Cody, Kinlee, Cayden, and Carter Harris, and Braxtyn and Ryker Jones. Mr. Harris leaves behind a sister, Sue (James) Bell of Memphis, TN, and brother, Jimmy (Mary Ellen) Harris of Sharon, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawson and Modene Harris. 

Before his retirement in 2014, Don, was a TN National Guard Veteran serving 21 years and was the owner of Harris Heating and Cooling. He was a member of Gleason First Baptist Church and an active member of 330 Masonic Lodge in Gleason. 

Services will be held at Gleason First Baptist Church on Thursday February 20, 2025 at 2pm. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery in Gleason. Visitation will start Thursday at 10:30am at Gleason First Baptist Church and will go until time of his funeral service.
