Dorothy Jean Graves

Dorothy Jean Adams Graves, age 82 of Kenton, Tennessee passed from this life at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday, April 24, 2025. Dorothy was born on August 10, 1942, in
Parsons, Tennessee. She was a retired homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Darlene Meeks (Roger) and Deloras Jean Dawson.
Her grandchildren: Angela Faith O'Neal (Mark), Michael Ray Dawson (Ashlee), DeLeah Renee Dawson, Katelyn Rae Strain (Bruce). Great-grandchildren: Madison Claire O'Neal, Cheyanne Skye Porter, Cortland Mason-David Hill, Cayden Adam Hill, Abigail Grace O'Neal, Alexander Cage Hill, Andrew Kevin Dwayne Hill, Hunter Ray Tolley, and Madysen KaRae Proffitt. She was blessed to have witnessed and loved on her fifth generation and namesake: Ava Jean Porter. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 69 years, David Eugene Graves, her parents, the late Thurman and Margaret (Martin) Adams, her sister, Peggy James, her brother, Billy Adams, her infant son, Darrell Eugene Graves, and son-in-law, Steven Ray Dawson. Funeral services for Dorothy Jean Graves will be at Williams Funeral Home in Greenfield, Tennessee on Friday, May 2, 2025. Visitation begins at 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with service to
