George Wayne Sawyers

Services for George Wayne Sawyers, age 80, of Gleason, TN will be held Saturday December 6, 2025 at 1pm at the Gleason First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery in Gleason. Visitation will begin Saturday at 11am and go until time of his funeral service. Mr. Sawyers is survived by his daughter, Allison (Chris) Weaver of Jackson, TN. He is also survived by two siblings, June Caldwell and Jerry Sawyers both of Gleason, TN. He leaves behind four grandchildren, Maggie Weaver (Travis) Crouch, Ellie Belle Weaver, George Grant Weaver, and Jack Henry Weaver. Mr. Sawyers was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Sawyers, and parents, Dudley and Maggie Belle Sawyers.
