Obituary

We sadly announce the death of Greenfield, TN resident James Allen Strickland, due to heart failure. Allen, a joyful, hardworking Christian gentleman at age 74 enjoyed Bible reading, instrumental music, Naturopathic medicine, engineering, business management, and assisting customers of the Out House and Drainworks companies of Yorkville, TN. Funeral services are Thursday, Aug. 31, 2023 at Williams Funeral Home with 11:00 am visitation with funeral services at 1:00 pm.& burial at Bradford, TN. Allen is the son of James Hall Strickland and Alma Rackley Strickland of GA. He leaves surviving family in TN wife Martha Martin Strickland, sister-in-law Debra Edwards (Randy) and children, brother-in-law Steve Martin and family. Allen’s surviving family out of state are his sister Linda Preston (Chuck) of FL, Allen's daughter Alisa Slate (Bruce) and grandchildren Nicholas, Anthony, & Ellie Pierria of VA & daughter Cindy Strickland of D.C. Allen will be sadly missed by many close friends and relatives.
