Joan P. Black (Gleason Chapel)

Services for Joan P. Black, age 89, of Gleason, TN will be held Thursday April 18, 2024 at 2pm at Williams Funeral Home of Gleason. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery in Gleason, TN. Visitation will begin Thursday morning at 11am and go until time of her funeral service. Mrs. Black is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Kay (Tim) Hicks and Becky (Eddie) Trevathan, both of Gleason, TN. She is also survived by a sister, Linda Arford of Lansing, MI. She leaves behind two grandchildren, Willie Trevathan and T.J. Hicks, five great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Mrs. Black was preceded in death by two husbands, Joe White and Richard Dean Black, parents, Jewel and Naomi Phelps, and a sister, Doris Lane.
