Lynda Marie (Long) Schippers

Lynda Marie Schippers (Long) age 65 of Gleason, TN, passed away on July 17, 2025 at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin, TN. She was born in Cook County, IL, to Robert J. Long and Genevieve A. Long on March 14, 1960.

In Life Lynda was a successful business owner, mother, wife, and loving grandmother. She is survived by her husband Harry W. Schippers III, partner of 28 years, Oris Mulroney, two daughters Kelly Schippers, and Barbara C. Torres and husband Miquel, and also her sister Laura Hatton. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Isabel Torres, Devin Ballew, Alexander Schippers, Miquel Torres Jr. Antonio Torres, and Caprice Torres.

 Services will be held Wednesday July 23rd at Williams Funeral Home of Gleason at 3 pm. Visitation will begin at 1 pm, and go until time of her service. Any gifts or donations may be left at the funeral home or the go fund me page on Facebook.
