Millie Branson Griffin, 75, of Greenfield, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on December 7, 1949, and raised in Greenfield, Millie devoted her life to caring for others. Her greatest joy came from putting the needs of her family and friends before her own. She was a deeply loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, known for her kind heart and unwavering generosity.

Survivors include her children Crystal McAlister of Greenfield and Michael Warren Griffin Jr. of Sharon, grandchildren: Raquel McAlister, Christina Dunn (Ryne), Ashley Griffin, Christian McAlister (Brittany), Maggie Griffin, great-grandchildren: Ayden, Ryker, Audrey, Ramsey, Rowdy, Raylee, and brothers: Johnny Branson, Gary Branson,  Billy Rachels, and Jimmy Rachels. 

Millie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Michael Warren Griffin Sr., daughter Rachel Griffin,  mother Lee Ann Rachels, father Gene Branson, and brother Dennis Branson.

In her final act of compassion, Millie chose to donate her body to Genesis, which provides an opportunity to make an ongoing contribution to medical science and the education of healthcare providers. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Millie’s legacy of love and selflessness lives on through all who knew and loved her.
