Richard Neal Guy

Richard Neal Guy passed away June 8, 2024, at 53 years of age. Richard was born May 5, 1971, in Weakley County, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Guy; grandparents, Howard (Christine) Guy, and Neal (Maggie) Jones. He is survived by his mother, Shirley Guy Bynum; his stepfather, Terry Bynum; his two brothers, Ron (Trisha) Guy of Camden, South Carolina, and Randall Guy of Sharon, Tennessee. Richard attended Sharon High School and then served in the United States Army. Later, he attended the University of Tennessee at Martin where he was an active part of the Sigma Pi fraternity. He also attended Dyersburg State Community College. Richard will be greatly missed by his family and friends including his beloved nieces and nephew, Sarah (Chris) Simmons of Italy, Captain Trace Guy of Nevada, and Kimberly Blair of Jacksonville, Arkansas. A graveside service will be held at Sandhill Cemetery in Gleason, Tennessee on July 6, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.  Richard had a special place in his heart for animals. Memorial donations may be made in his name to the Ken-Tenn Humane Society of Fulton, Kentucky.
