Rita Susan Graves

Rita Susan Allen Graves of Greenfield TN; beloved wife and mother passed from this life on June 4th, 2023. She was 71 years old. Rita was mother to  three children; the "jewels in her crown".  She was also beloved "Mamaw" to five Grandchildren. Rita was always a devoted and loving wife to her husband of 53 years. Rita was one of 16 children born to the late James Milburn Allen and Mamie Louise Warren Allen. Rita Susan is survived by husband Leon Graves, two daughters; Tina Latch (Jeff) and Melanie McMillin, and a Son; James Graves. She is also survived by five Grandchildren: Ethan Latch, Jeremy Latch, Madison Graves, Jaymee Graves, and Isaac McMillin. Rita is also survived by two sisters; Brenda Turner of Sharon TN,  Deborah  Allen of Franklin TN, and two brothers; James (Josephine) Allen of Sidonia TN and Johnny Tinker of Atlanta Ga.  Also by a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by beloved siblings and her mother and father. Services for Rita Susan Allen Graves will be held Thursday June 8th at 2 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Greenfield. Burial will follow in Hornbeak Cemetery in Greenfield. Visitation will begin Thursday at 12 noon at Williams Funeral Home and go until time of her service.
