Virginia H. Jeter

Services for Virginia Hodges Jeter, age 98, formerly of Gleason, TN will be held Monday July 31, 2023 at 1pm at Gleason First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery in Gleason, TN. Visitation will be Monday starting at 11am and going until time of her funeral service at 1pm. Mrs. Jeter is survived by three children, Robert (Rita) Jeter of Gleason, TN, Jere Jeter of Franklin, TN, and Gail (Kerry) Campbell of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by three siblings, Charles Hodges of Huntingdon, TN, Susan Allen and Janis Featherstone, both of Christmasville, TN. Mrs. Jeter leaves behind seven grandchildren, Brooke McClure, Tamara Turbyville, Paul Jeter, Elizabeth Rutledge, John Campbell, Kristen Baker, and Karen Hollars. She also leaves behind 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack W. Jeter, parents, Roy Rosco and Tenne Aileen Hodges, and seven siblings, Martha Nell Poyner, Mary Jane Higgs, Margaret Ann Calvert, Bettye Faye Bell, John Robert Hodges, Tommy Hodges, and Roy Lee Hodges
